April 26, 2004 By: Amy Imann UniPress Software Announces Record Sales Growth for FootPrints Product Line in First QuarterUniPress Software, Inc., a leading provider of web-based service desk automation software, today announced the strongest fiscal quarter to date for its award-winning FootPrints product line. In the first quarter of 2004, the company broke sales records, and added many new customers. UniPress attributes this growth in the help desk and customer support automation markets, to increasing sales of its flagship FootPrints web-based service desk software as well as the launch of its FootPrints for eService solution, and its new FootPrints Hosting Service. In the first quarter of 2004 ending in March, UniPress had three consecutive record sales months, and is closing in on securing its 2,000th customer milestone in second quarter 2004. UniPress launched its first FootPrints software product in 1996. Since then, FootPrints web-based service desk software has evolved into a comprehensive product line that offers organizations of all sizes the ability to automate their help desk and customer service operations, reduce support costs, and control all aspects of the problem-resolution lifecycle. Organizations are expanding their use of FootPrints tools to streamline a range of business processes and workflow, including centralized management of requests from multiple channels, email management, asset management, change management, and best practices for support. The FootPrints product line continues to capture market share because it is powerful, affordable, fully customizable, extremely easy-to-use, flexible for multiple functions, and is typically up and running within days – without requiring costly training, consulting, and programming. New customers of the FootPrints product line in the first quarter of 2004 include Wells Fargo Bank, The Home Depot-at Home Services, Hunter Fans, University of Alabama at Birmingham, Cell Genesys, Inc., ConAgra Foods Retail Products, Home Trust Bank, INVISION, Inc., Nordic Superconductor Technologies, South Windsor School District, the State of Maine, Synnex Information Technologies, Webmedx, Inc., BISYS, Metrologic Instruments, Inc., Purdue University – West Lafayette, The Salk Institute, US Department of Commerce, Farmers Insurance Group FCU, and Silicon Image.
